All the true yearners and lovers come to the front ! We live in an age where showing the slightest hint of passion and fondness is seen as “doing too much”…. God forbid you like someone and you show it !

But do not fret, there are still plenty of people in the world who love their person fearlessly, shout out to you guys you’re fulfilling God’s plan.

Exhibit a of true lovers are our Love Island sweethearts Serena and Kordell collective aww. Forget them being black love poster kids , they are two people who are unquestionably obsessed with each other. Sure at the start of it Serena was hesitant and had her walls up (as most of us do), but Kordell was willing to be patient with her because he wanted to and liked her enough to do so. Regardless of outside opinions, he fought for his girl and he got her. People are afraid to do a little chasing but for the right person, it is always worth it.

Finding similar interests is one way that ignites passion in a relationship. It could be anything, like food, music, art or a niche thing like star wars or something. When you feel so strongly about something, sharing that with someone can be so special, also you find them even more attractive. We can see that passion with couples such as Rihanna and ASAP Rocky, Zendaya and Tom Holland and Lily-Rose Deep and 070 Shake.

At the end of the day, not all hope is lost. Be authentic, patient and love shamelessly. When we do that, hopefully we can all develop a secure attachment.
